The Challenge

As the Director of Information Technology for Nigerian Students in North Cyprus and being a close associate to the President, I was invited to lead the ANSEGA design team. Despite a tight timeline, I was responsible for developing the event’s visual identity, including the logo, color palette, design elements, award plaque design, and live event screens.

I was then given a more detailed brief and a chatgpt logo concept. Then I was asked to help with the following:

My Approach

This project challenged me to bring strategy, speed, and creativity together. But having a process is everything. Here was how I apporached such a daunting task.

I reviewed the event objectives, audience, and similar projects to guide visual direction and ensure relevance.

Then sketched ideas for logos, icons, and awards. Developed a cohesive visual identity with color schemes and design elements.

I then produced over 100 flyers, set up a branded voting system, created animations with Pelumi Adeniran, and designed two custom award types.

All visuals—animations, screens, and awards—were deployed during the event, enhancing the overall experience and brand impact.
